§ 6:607. Adoption of state sanitary code.

  • For the purpose of establishing rules and regulations governing eating and drinking establishments and markets, Chapter VII, Eating and Drinking Establishments, Bakeries, Manufacturing Confectioneries, Food Manufacturing Plants, and Chapter XXI, Markets, of the state sanitary code, as amended, and including any future amendments thereto, prepared and promulgated by the state board of health and the whole of such chapters of the state sanitary code except such provisions as are deleted, modified or amended by other provisions of this chapter, are hereby adopted by the city-parish as fully as though set out in length herein and from and after the effective date of this chapter, the provisions thereof shall be in effect in the city-parish and the director is directed to maintain not less than three (3) copies of such Chapters VII and XXI on file in his office.
