§ 9:264. Licensed auctioneer required.

Any sale at an auction to be conducted in accordance herewith shall be conducted by a person licensed as an auctioneer in the state or by a non-resident auctioneer exempted from state licensing requirements under the reciprocity provisions of the Louisiana Auction and Auctioneer's Law. It shall be a violation of the terms hereof if a sale at an auction held in accordance with the provisions of this article is conducted by a person not licensed as hereinabove provided.
