As a condition of issuance and continued validity of a teen club license, the licensee
shall maintain a broad form of comprehensive public liability insurance policy, issued
by an insurance company qualified to do business in Louisiana and rated A or better
by Best's Insurance Rating System, or its equivalent, providing coverage of all claims
for property damage and personal injury arising in connection with the operation of
the teen club, with minimum limits of one million dollars ($1,000,000.00) for any
single claim and three million dollars ($3,000,000.00) for any one occurrence, and
such policy shall name the city-parish as an additional insured. The policy shall
remain in full force and effect so long as any teen dance activities are conducted
by the licensee, and the policy shall provide that the city-parish be given at least
ten (10) days' written notice prior to its cancellation. If the notice of cancellation
is given and another certificate of insurance demonstrating the issuance of a policy
meeting all terms and conditions hereof is not furnished prior to the end of the ten-day
period, the license shall be revoked. At the request of the alcoholic beverage control
office, the licensee shall provide certification of the insurance coverage required
by this section.
