§ 9:959.1. Penalty for violation of chapter.

Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall upon conviction be punished by a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) or by imprisonment not exceeding thirty (30) days or both such fine and imprisonment as determined by a court of competent jurisdiction. Each act in violation of any of the provisions hereof shall be deemed a separate offense.
