§ 6:304. Suspension and revocation of permits; notice and hearing.

  • Any permit issued under the provisions of this chapter may be suspended or revoked by the health officer, if, after written notice to the permit holder and a hearing before the health officer he finds that the permit holder has violated any of the provisions of this chapter or that he has failed to comply with any of the standards for milk and milk products herein prescribed. The notice shall set forth the alleged violation or failure to comply and shall be addressed to the permit holder at the address shown on the application for the permit. Any permit issued hereunder may, however, be suspended immediately and without notice to the permit holder if the health officer finds that there exists an immediate and pressing danger to the public health; such suspension shall remain in effect only until a hearing is held by the health officer as herein provided.
