§ 2:130. Permit required.
(a)
No cuts shall be made in any street, sidewalk, curb or neutral ground of the city-parish by any person for the purpose of service to any property abutting on or near the street, without first making application to the department of public works, and obtaining a permit therefor as hereinafter provided.
(b)
Classification of streets in the city-parish, for the purpose of this part are hereby made as follows:
(1)
Class A: All streets hard surfaced with concrete, blacktop or brick.
(2)
Class B: All streets gravelled and with curb and gutter.
(3)
Class C: All streets with gravel or earth and without curb and gutter.
