§ 1:780. Investment of special and trust funds—Authority.

The treasurer is hereby authorized, directed and empowered to invest all special and trust funds held in the various banks and banking institutions within the city-parish to the credit of the city-parish in short term government securities, bearing the highest available rate of interest, said funds to be invested under the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth in this chapter.
