§ 1:58. Vacations, sick leave and compensation.(City)

(a)

The city judges shall be entitled to such vacations as are provided by law. Vacation accrual and severance pay shall be allowed in accordance with the personnel rules for classified employees of the City of Baton Rouge, Parish of East Baton Rouge.

(b)

Sick leave shall be granted city court judges without the loss of pay. No sick leave accrual or severance pay shall be allowed.

(c)

An acting or ad hoc judge appointed to sit in the absence of a city judge under the supervision of the Louisiana Supreme Court shall be compensated on a pro-rata basis according to the judge's daily city-parish salary.

(d)

All other court personnel, including the city constable, shall be allowed the vacations provided in accordance with the personnel rules for classified employees of the City of Baton Rouge, Parish of East Baton Rouge.

(e)

All modifications in past practices shall become effective January 1, 2001.
