§ 13:1009. Abandoning iceboxes and refrigerators.
(a)
It shall be unlawful for any person to leave outside of any building or dwelling in a place accessible to children any abandoned, unattended or discarded icebox, refrigerator or any other container of any kind which has an airtight snap lock, door, hinge, or other device thereon without first removing the said snap lock, doors, hinges and other devices from the icebox, refrigerator or container.
(b)
Whoever is found guilty of abandoning iceboxes and refrigerators shall be fined not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00), imprisoned in the jail for not more than six (6) months, or both.
