§ 11:429. Designated parking spaces.

(a)

The director of the department of public works is authorized and directed to designate and allot parking spaces in the vicinity of publicly owned buildings for use by public officials and employees and/or public vehicles, with each such parking space designated by sign or lettering for a particular person, agency or vehicle.

(b)

Where signs, markers or lettering are present giving notice thereof, no person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle or permit a vehicle registered in his name to be parked, standing or stopped in any such allotted space except as authorized by the designation of the director of the department of public works.
