§ 11:278. Quiet zone.

The chief of police shall have the authority to temporarily establish a zone of quiet upon any street where a person is seriously ill if requested to do so by a physician who states that such zones shall be marked by conspicuous signs bearing the words which will call such to the attention of the operators of vehicles.
