§ 10:214. Power of taxicab control board to make rules and regulations.

In addition to specific authority granted to the taxicab control board in this chapter, the taxicab control board is authorized to promulgate, make and publish reasonable rules and regulations for the purpose of the proper administration and enforcement of the provisions of this chapter, and the collection of revenues thereunder; provided that such rules and regulations shall not be inconsistent with the provisions of this chapter or other laws of the city-parish and the laws, or the constitution of the state; and provided further that such rules and regulations shall have the full force and effect of an ordinance duly passed by the council.
