Latest version.
  • (a)

No deviation from or change of any of the prescribed routes shall be made or permitted by any bus or other mass transit conveyance owner except with the consent of the commission or in the case of emergency necessitating a deviation from the prescribed route. If deemed in the public interest, the commission may require the bus or other mass transit conveyance owner to follow a temporary route other than the one being used or proposed to be used.

Nothing in this section shall be construed to prevent an owner from putting into effect "turn back service" as defined in section 10:101, if full information concerning such turn back service is listed in the statement of schedules required by section 10:114.
