§ 9:325. Purpose of chapter; certificates required. (City)

  • In order to further carry out the regulations of businesses dealing in alcoholic beverages, as authorized by title 26 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes and under the express authority granted in R.S. 26:494 and in order to further protect the health, safety and morals of the citizens of the city, no retail dealer shall employ any male or female entertainers commonly known as "exotic dancers" unless such entertainers have been issued a certificate of qualification by the chief of police. No retail dealer shall hire any male impersonating a female as an "exotic dancer" or barmaid, or any female impersonating a male as an "exotic dancer" or bartender.
