§ 6:101. Duty of physicians.

It shall be the duty of each and every practicing physician in the city-parish to report in writing to the health officer the death of any of his patients who shall have died in the city-parish of contagious, infectious or pestilential disease, within twenty-four (24) hours thereafter, and to state in such report the specific name and type of such disease.
