§ 6:50. Spitting.

(a)

It shall be unlawful for any person to spit or expectorate on the sidewalks, or on the floors of public halls or markets or in theaters and other places of amusement.

(b)

Any person violating the provisions of this section shall, upon conviction, be subject to a fine of not more than fifteen dollars ($15.00), or imprisonment for not more than ten (10) days, or both, at the discretion of the court.
