The violation of any of the provisions of this part by any employee, whether classified
or unclassified, or by any other person is hereby declared to be a misdemeanor and
punishable as such by a fine of two hundred dollars ($200.00), or imprisonment not
exceeding sixty (60) days, or both, in the discretion of the court. In addition, the
violation of any of the provisions hereof by any employee, classified or unclassified,
shall be cause for suspension or dismissal from the public service.
