§ 1:604. Director responsible to mayor-president.

Subject only to the provisions of the Plan of Government and of this part, the director of public works shall be directly responsible to the mayor-president for the proper conduct and operation of the department. He shall keep the mayor-president and the council informed as to the business of the department and shall make such periodic reports on the activities thereof as may be from time to time requested by the mayor-president, the council, or proper committee thereof.
