§ 1:507. Refunds for fees paid erroneously.

(a)

The director of finance is hereby authorized to make refunds of city-parish collections not in excess of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00) for fees, taxes, permits or any other collections paid erroneously, with such refunds to be made out of current year revenues.

(b)

It is the responsibility of the director of finance to be satisfied that the claim presented is valid and one that falls within the purview of the purposes of this section.
