§ 1:501. Allocation of funds from "reserve fund" appropriations.

  • Allocations of funds from "reserve fund" appropriations, as contained in the current expense budgets of the city-parish, shall be made only on an affirmative vote of two-thirds of the entire membership of the council. Prior to establishing any allocation out of "reserve fund" appropriations, in accordance with resolutions or ordinances adopted by the council, the director of finance shall procure from the council administrator a certificate showing the vote of the council thereon, and further certifying that the resolution or ordinance allocating such funds was adopted by a vote of two-thirds of the entire membership of the council concerned.
