§ 15:10. Definitions.

  • Throughout this chapter the following words and phrases shall in the absence of clear indicating herein otherwise, be given the following respective interpretations herein:

    Act 151 of 1969 means Act 151 adopted by the 1969 session of the Legislature of Louisiana.

    Action and action of commission means proceedings of commission, whether in the form of a motion, resolution or ordinance, authorized to be adopted hereunder.

    Authority means the council as more fully defined in section 15:11.

    Commission means nine (9) qualified electors appointed and hereinafter to be appointed by the council having delegated powers as provided in this chapter.

    District means the Greater Baton Rouge Airport District created in section 15:11.

    Final means action of the commission that has become legally binding upon the district, authority and commission as provided in section 15:21.

    Final date means the date on which action of the commission has become final.
