§ 13:134. Misrepresentation of age to gain entry to the licensed gaming premises of a riverboat casino prohibited.

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful for any person under the age of twenty-one (21) years to enter, attempt to enter, or be present in a licensed riverboat gaming facility docked in East Baton Rouge Parish.

    (b)

    It shall be unlawful for any person under the age of twenty-one (21) years to present or offer to any riverboat casino docked in East Baton Rouge Parish, or to its agents or employees any written, printed, or photostatic evidence of age and identity which is false, fraudulent or not actually his or her own for the purpose of entering a licensed riverboat gaming facility docked in East Baton Rouge Parish.

    (c)

    Whoever violates the provisions of this section shall be fined as follows:

    (1)

    For the first violation, a fine of no less than two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) and up to five hundred dollars ($500.00) and imprisonment of up to ten (10) days;

    (2)

    For the second and subsequent violations, a fine of no less than five hundred dollars ($500.00) and up to one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) and imprisonment for up to thirty (30) days.
