§ 12:403. Charivariing.

The custom of charivariing is hereby declared a nuisance, and all persons are prohibited from engaging in the same within the limits of the city, and any one so offending shall be held guilty of disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace, and shall be liable to a fine not exceeding twenty dollars ($20.00), or imprisoned not exceeding twenty (20) days.
