§ 12:260. Peddling, etc., as nuisance.

  • The practice of going upon or using any portion of the neutral ground of that public right-of-way known as Park Boulevard, from the south line of Government Street to City Park, for the purpose of hawking, peddling or selling any goods, wares or merchandise, or conducting any business for profit of whatsoever kind or nature, shall be and is hereby declared to be a public nuisance and punishable as such as a misdemeanor, provided that nothing herein shall prevent the delivery of any goods, wares or merchandise.
