§ 12:210. Door-to-door peddling in city-parish buildings as nuisance.

  • The practice of going from door to door or office to office in the municipal building, the courthouse, the municipal annex, or any other building owned by the city-parish located in the city-parish by solicitors, peddlers, hawkers or itinerant merchants and transient vendors of merchandise, for the purpose of soliciting orders for the sale of goods, wares and merchandise, and/or for the purpose of disposing of and/or peddling or hawking the same, is hereby declared to be a nuisance, and punishable as such nuisance as a misdemeanor.
