§ 12:210. Door-to-door peddling in city-parish buildings as nuisance.
Latest version.
The practice of going from door to door or office to office in the municipal building,
the courthouse, the municipal annex, or any other building owned by the city-parish
located in the city-parish by solicitors, peddlers, hawkers or itinerant merchants
and transient vendors of merchandise, for the purpose of soliciting orders for the
sale of goods, wares and merchandise, and/or for the purpose of disposing of and/or
peddling or hawking the same, is hereby declared to be a nuisance, and punishable
as such nuisance as a misdemeanor.
