§ 10:605. Enforcement.

(a)

Upon submission of the required permit application in compliance with section 10:602(a)(11), the taxicab control board shall issue a permit to a transportation network services company.

(b)

The city-parish taxicab control board shall have the authority to enforce the requirements of this act, including through inspection of relevant records; provided, that any records disclosed to the city-parish that are otherwise exempt from the definition of a public record under the Louisiana Public Records Act shall not disclosed to third parties.

(c)

Failure to adhere to the requirements of this section by a transportation network application company or operator may result in sanction by the taxicab control board including fines and other penalties, pursuant to its authority.

(d)

Except for the rules and regulations necessary to enforce the provisions of this chapter, transportation network application companies, operators, and services shall be exempt from regulation by the taxicab control board including any rules or regulations requiring a transportation network company to:

(1)

Collect or transmit data or information about a customer or a customer's trip to the commission; or

(2)

Provide the taxicab control board with a list or inventory of drivers or vehicles that are associated with a transportation network application company.
